Tentative Gaming Schedule!
The Gaming Schedule is now posted! This is, of course, subject to change. Please contact the Gaming Coordinator if you’d like to run a game!
Once Upon A Time – a LARP of 7th Sea
In a country where History is Legend, and Legend can stroll down the same path as you on a nice sunny day, Avalon is a land that seems to simply be More. The grass is greener and the sun shines brighter in the sky. The Heroes are more dashing, and the Villains, the Villains are much more vile and depraved.

There are those who would like to see Avalon wake up from the fairy tale dream, and face the hard reality that all stories must come to an end. And there are those would like to see the stories change, grow, and develop their own unique twists and turns.

A wind of change is blowing across Avalon, and Carleon is in it’s path. Will the stories be blown aside, or will they stand strong? Will you help them, or howl with the winds for their downfall?
Stellarcon GM Policy
GMs that run 3 or more sessions get in free. If you run less, you get a discount.
General Information
Important Note: The primary focus of this convention is to: Have Fun, Try new things, Learn, Share, Grow and Play.
GMs can pick their event time slot
When selecting a time slot, please list your 1st and 2nd choices. There may not be space for your event in your first choice and so it may have to be moved. You will be contacted via e-mail if we can not accommodate you.
Stick to the Schedule!
In most cases, games are to be scheduled according to the above slot schedule.

The schedule is very flexible. Some games may have shorter slots. If so, just remember to get in free, you must have at least 12 hours as a GM on your schedule. Work out any special schedules with the Gaming Coordinator

GMs will have a five to ten minute leeway to begin their game after the listed start time.

Clean up will commence at 6:00 PM on Sunday.

Check Badges
It’s important to the Convention that all players playing in your game have valid convention badges. It’s up to the GM to check for badges of all players.
GM Requirements
You must be prepared to run your event prior to arriving. This includes, if applicable, pre-generated characters and necessary materials for those characters. RPG GMs must be prepared to run with 6 players unless previously arranged between the GM and the Gaming Coordinator to run with either less or more.

GMs need to know the rules of the games thoroughly in advance. Do Not try to read the rules while teaching the game.

All beginners must be allowed to play. If any player refuses to play with a beginner than the refusing gamer should not be allowed to play.

You will be required to teach the rules of the game to any and all interested gamers. NO gamers can be left out because they do not know the rules. If there are enough players for two separate games, then you may separate the beginning players into one game if you so desire.

You must make any house rules clear to all players prior to the beginning of the game.

Let all players know in advance the approximate time it takes to play the game.

NO paperwork is required! If you would like to take notes or write down some general comments on what occurred you are more than welcome to do so. Feedback is always welcome!

The Droid Hunt

The Droid Hunt is a “scavenger hunt” type game created by 501st Legion founder Albin Johnson as a fun way for convention goers to interact with members of the 501st, and recreate the suspense of Imperial Stormtroopers policing the galaxy!  The first Droid Hunt took place at DragonCon 2004 (Atlanta, GA), and has been successfully enacted numerous times at many different conventions and other events.  Please join the 501st in the Droid Hunt at StellarCon!

To play:

You have come into possession of a seemingly innocent droid.  Little did you know that it might be harboring data valuable to the Rebellion.  Imperial personnel from the elite 501st Legion have been dispatched to StellarCon to search for this droid.  It’s up to you safeguard your droid, but how long before the Empire catches up with you?

1.  Visit the 501st table at StellarCon on Saturday morning between 9 am and noon to pick up your free Droid Hunt badge.  Wear your badge prominently as you walk the convention, making no effort to either hide it or have it discovered.  Let the Imperial troopers, officers, or hired bounty hunters find it on their own!

2.  The Hunt will officially begin at noon on Saturday. If Imperial personnel approach you in full costume (helmet on, if applicable) and deliver the line “How long have you had these droids?” you must surrender your Droid badge.  Feel free to act “in character” when dealing with the troopers, and have fun with your role as a Rebel sympathizer!

3.  When giving up your Droid badge, make sure the Imperials give you a raffle ticket in exchange. The Hunt will end at 5:01 on Saturday afternoon, after which there will be a prize drawing for Hunt participants as a “thank you” for playing along. Be sure to bring your raffle ticket to the 501st table at approximately 5:15 to see if you’ve won the prize! Your ticket may also be handed in at the table in exchange for one complimentary Droid Hunt badge after the game ends, while supplies last.

4.  Remember, this is a simple fun way to recreate the feeling of the Star Wars universe!  The 501st Legion thanks you for playing along and making this a memorable event.  May the Force be with you, Rebel scum!
